The Institute for Peace and Democracy (IPD) in collaboration with the Centre for Democratic Institutions and Australian Labor International, is pleased to announce that the application period for the second Asia-Pacific Political Leadership Program (APLP2) is now open. APLP2 is an 8 day training course that will be held in Bali from 25 September - 2 October 2013.
 
IPD is seeking applications from young, emerging party activists and leaders from fifteen countries – Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Thailand, Timor Leste, Tunisia, Vanuatu and Vietnam, with the following requirements:
· Age range from 25-35 years old;
· Have at least 2-3 years of political experience;
· Have a track record of leadership, political activism, and a deep commitment to strengthening your own political parties;
· Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
IPD and partners will cover the full cost of the training program including transportation, accommodation, meals, visas and other incidental costs.
