EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
· PASSED 'DIPLOMA IN ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT',-1st CLASS (WITH DISTINCTION) FROM ISBM(Govt. of India Affiliated).
· PRESENTLY PURSUING 'BACHELOR OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT' GITAM UNIVERSITY(only university offering the subject all over India), Vishakapatnam ,India(Ranked 9th in the GSAT exam and Ranked 1st in the Bachelor of Environmental Management(BEM) course entrance in GITAM University.)
(Had also been selected to study Environmental Management in the University of Worcester UK)
· Aspiring to study Masters and Doctorate(Phd.) in Environmental Management (spl: Sustainable Development)

ACHIEVEMENTS AT A GLANCE:
There are certain things that I achieved by the grace of God, in these few days:
(1) Selected amongst the top 15 international students to attend a course cum discussion on Environmental Management--"Challenge of the Balance-a course cum discussion on policies, politics and practices of Environmental Management", by the Center for Science and Environment of India.(2010-2011)
(2) Guillermo Kerber Mas, who heads the World Council of Churches(WCC) human rights and climate change program, included me in the Environmental list, in WCC's work on environment and particularly climate change.
(3) Project Proposer for "GREEN THE CHURCH – MISSION 2020 ",Main Coordinator along with The Rt. Revd. Ashoke biswas [Bishop of Diocese of calcutta]. It is the first of its kind under the Church of North India , headed by Diocese of Calcutta , having proper environmental management committee , leaded by Abhishek Panja[Main Coordinator].
(4) I have been called by the Chief Environmental Officer of the State Govt. of West Bengal; to be involved with an Environmental project of Climate Proofing, to be carried out by the Govt. of West Bengal.
(5) Selected amongst 100 international youths to participate in the ASIA-PACIFIC UNEP-TUNZA CONFERENCE, 2012.[ Asia-Pacific UNEP TUNZA Children and Youth Conference will provide inputs to two significant international events, the Rio +20 EARTH SUMMIT and the CBD COP11 being organized in Hyderabad in October 2012.]
(6) Involved amongst the 194 Youth members in the Rio+twenties working in behalf of Major Group of Children and Youth for the UN Conference on Sustainable Development , in making and framing several policy papers/drafts/declarations locally and internationally on Climate Change/Sustainable Development through the groups :
(i)Rio+20 Youth Facilitation Team(Members:238 Description: This is a group for youth from all over the world who have the time, capacity and commitment to actively collaborate in the preparations for the upcoming UN Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20).)
(ii) Rio +20 Youth Governance for Sustainability(Description: The "Rio +20 Youth Governance for Sustainability" mailing list is the platform for discussions among the Youth caucus on the issue of Institutional Framework for Sustainable Development(IFSD), in the context of the Rio+20 Earth Summit -Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 20th -22nd June, 2012 )
(iii)Green Economy Youth (Description: This list serve will be used for collaborative work on the Green Economy of International Youth in the process leading up to Rio+20.)
(iv) Objectives Youth Task Force (Rio+20)-( Description This is the Objectives Task Force for Major Group of Children and Youth for the UN Conference on Sustainable Development. It aims to bring together all youth and children interested in this aspect of the conference to plan, prepare, advocate for change and lobby to ensure that the event is a success)
(v)MGCY(Major Group of Children and Youth) Capacity Building Team:
Description | This is the group space for the MGCY Capacity Building team. Our aims are to empower young people across the world by actively working to provide them with a series of motivational and informative material and reaching out to them through the help of country coordinators. |

(8 )Member of the SAYEN (South Asian Youth Environment Network)
Members: 276 Description: SAYEN was set up in July 2002. Supported by the UNEP Regional Office, Asia and the Pacific; SAYEN is linked to TUNZA, UNEP's strategy for engaging young people in environmental activities and in the work of UNEP. CEE hosts the Secretariat for SAYEN, which has membership from all the SAARC countries.
(10) Selected to participate in the international conference : "DELHI SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT 2012" .
(11) Have been nominated by the Diocese of Calcutta for participating in the " 2011 Commonwealth Saltire Professional Fellowships for programmes in the field of climate change"-Scottish Government.
(12) Have been have been shortlisted amongst top 7 youth environmentalist of India for the TFT International Conference and Workshop 2011 ,Sri lanka by Weeramantry International Centre for Peace Education and Research (WICPER).
(13)Recieved 2nd Prize in the Inter University Sustainability Challenge,IIT-MADRAS SHAASTRA(First time an ISO 9001:2008 certified event), where I was the Team Leader of the project proposed for GITAM University.
Supporting this grand project will be such organizations as the United Nations Environment Program and the Centre for Environment Education, as well as by the Harvard Sustainability Initiative, AASHE (USA),and other international organizations. Also we will be recognized as 'Certified in Environmental Auditing and Sustainable Technologies', an internationally acclaimed recognition. "
(14)International Activist and a steady volunteer for the International organization "1-degree Initiative"-NEPAL, majorly on the issues of Climate Change and Environment, Peace, Poverty eradication.
(15)International youth activist and a steady member of "Green Army -Spectrum Institute of Science and Technology"—SRI LANKA, and is been expressing and supporting this organization with various unique creative ideas in the field of Climate Change and Environment.
(16) Attended the Wildscreen film festival, including the masterclasses. (Wildscreen is the world's largest and most prestigious wildlife and environmental film festival.)
(17) Member of the Diocesan Youth Work Committee (kolkata) headed by Chairperson ,Commision on Youth, National Council of Churches in India.-working for various social issues.
(18) Selected to present paper and speaker in "International Symposium on the Effects of Emissions & Effluents on Environment" during 23rd & 24tn December 2011 hosted by Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam.
(19)Founder member and Team Leader of the" Eco-knights" – voluntary students organization working for the environmental management in GITAM University, vishakapatnam.
(20)In Editorial Team and environmental reporter of GITAM MAGAZINE, GITAM UNIVERSITY.
(21)Cover story writer for the Environmental Magazine "BEACON"- published by Centre for Science and Environment of India, 2011.
(22) Had been an active part in the Social work in school level, and was awarded a grade-A by the ISC(Indian School Certificate).
(23) Attended many local , national and international environmental and social seminars and conferences.
(24) Member of the Bible Society of India (Kolkata)-Youth Committee.
